1. Start eating a healthy diet
This is the part where most people fail.
There are many reasons why many would rather buy fast food from the drive-thru than eat healthy meals, but you need to stop making excuses and be proactive.

Start with small goals like incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your meals. Then cut off your fast food purchases slowly and learn to cook for yourself instead of relying on takeouts. It may seem hard at first, but you need to keep at it until waking up early to cook meals becomes natural for you.
2. Stay physically active
Staying physically active does not mean you need to enroll for a year’s membership at your local gym.
You can do simple things like walking the stairs instead of taking the elevator, or biking to work instead of taking a cab. This is very important especially if the type of work you have is sedentary.
During lunch breaks, you can walk around or do simple chair exercises. If you want a more vigorous exercise, try jogging or look up an exercise video on YouTube and do it at home.
3. Cut off vices that only endanger your health
You need to think long and hard about the habits that you have that are not good for you.

6. Be consistent
The thing is, you can write a lot of goals you want to achieve, but if you are not consistent and disciplined, you will have a hard time achieving them.
